The Cub Lair is one of the most popular buildings at Kibblestone. On the training side of the site, the Cub Lair has the appearance of an Alpine chalet.
The upper ground floor has a large dormitory with bunks for 30, that doubles as a large activity area with a polished wooden floor. Indoor footwear essential Off this main room are two smaller bunk rooms for leaders only, with metal framed bunks for 8 and 6 respectively. There is also a single toilet and wash basin, ideal for night use.
The Cub Lair is heated throughout, including the ablutions.
The lower ground floor, an undercroft, has a large industrial style kitchen and has all the equipment needed to cater for the buildings inhabitants. The table of contents follows...

This level also has a dining room, that can also be used for crafts and table top activities.
The Cub Lair ablutions were refitted in 2006 and are a very high standard, they include 2 showers, 3 basins and 4 toilets for ladies, and 3 toilets and 4 urinals, for the males, and a wash room with 2 showers and 8 sinks for your participants (can be used for either sex).
