Kibblestone is lucky enough to be set in the beautiful location that is the Moddershall Valley. The valley has been home to nine watermills that have ground all manner of products over the centuries.

Kibblestone International Scout Camp is home to two of these mills. We have an iron wheeled mill approximately 20feet in diameter at Wetmore Mill, and a wooden wheel on Mosty Lea Mill, which was reconstructed in 2005.

Mosty Lea Mill is operated and opened to visitors by the Friends Of Mosty Lea Mill. This group have been brought together by a wonderful appreciation for the mill and its workings.

These volunteers will open the mill and give groups guided tours for a donation towards the up keep of the mill.
