This is a building with the charm of age, it was the stables to Kibblestone Hall.
On the ground floor is an activity room, that can be arranged as a dining room (11 m x 5m) and a large industrial kitchen.
On the ground floor, there is also a bunk room, The Stable, for sleeping 8 leaders only. The upper floor is a dormitory area, with bunks for 28 and off this room is a separate room for 6 leaders only. The whole building has polished wooden floors, so soft indoor footwear is essential, and is electrically heated throughout. Adjacent is a toilet block with basic facilities, please note that the washroom and toilets are available to the RCTC and others camping on the Lawn etc. Groups are advised to liaise with each other to avoid congestion at likely busy periods. The lawn camping site is NOT automatically booked with the RCTC. There may be some disruption during 2008, as a new toilet block is being constructed. |
