Mosty Lea Mill is is 16th Century Wooden Wheeled Water Mill. In its history  has milled bone for the local potteries and paint during the war milled the yellow coloured paint that you can see  below.

The Friends Of Mosty Lea Mill operate the mill every Wednesday and the first weekend of a calender month, and can give very knowledgeable talks and tours of the building, where you can still see the pans etc.
