Multi Activity Instructor (Temporary)
Kibblestone International Scout Camp
About the role:
We are looking to recruit temporary multi-activity instructors to join the Kibblestone team and work with our busy summer camps in 2023.
These are temporary contracts, and applicants must be available to work from mid June to mid August. The mandatory training and induction will be conducted prior to 5 June.
Our instructors are responsible for providing high quality outdoor learning experiences to our customers, whilst ensuring the safety of all participants.
The posts are perfect for anyone aspiring to be an outdoor instructor or anyone with a passion for the outdoors looking to gain experience of working with children. You will be working alongside the staff and volunteers at Kibblestone to deliver activities and to support the groups on-site.
About Kibblestone
Kibblestone International Scout Camp is a 98-acre site in Staffordshire, just five miles from Stone. Our aim is to deliver high quality residential educational experiences that encourage young people to positively develop self-confidence, citizenship and good life skills. Through a range of adventurous activities and play, our well trained, approachable staff motivate visitors to have fun, become friends and learn about themselves in our stunning outdoor environment. Every experience aims to inspire people to enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and a positive approach to life, whilst creating memories that shall last a lifetime.
We provide a wide range of adventurous and team building activities to suit groups of all ages and abilities.
Hours, pay and benefits:
• 37 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
• Salary from relevant National Living/Minimum wage.
• Camping accommodation included.
• Training on in-house activities
• First aid training
About you:
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with groups and have attained skills in one or more outdoor activity. Successful applicants will be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic, outgoing with great communications skills.
