Accommodation

Please be aware when booking buildings or camping or any other kibblestone events, if your booking the year before. Then we will ask for the deposit rate of that year, and when the prices are released, normally 1st January of that year of your booking. Those prices will apply, Any other arrangements, regarding price lists and deposits will be through the management and finance team and backed up by an email from the Centre manager

Cub Lair & Chalet



One of our biggest accommodation buildings, the Cub Lair sleeps a total of 53. There are five dormitories off the upper main room accommodating 43, three rooms of 9, one of 6 and one of 10. This building has a night toilet, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, toilets and showers. There is also a Chalet in the Cub Lair camping field which sleeps 10. There is space for around thirty campers in the grounds.

Ronald Copeland Training Centre (RCTC)


The two storey building sleeps 53.  There are five dormitories upstairs accommodating 34, two rooms of 8, one of 6, one of 10 and one of 2. The building has a night toilet situated in the dormitory, ideal for younger members.  Downstairs there is a room for 9 and a room for 2. Outside the RCTC is the Chalet which sleeps 8 split over two rooms of 4.

A large, fully equipped industrial kitchen adjoins the group room that doubles as a dining room.
The building also has a purpose build shower block with excellent disabled facilities. There is space for around thirty campers in the grounds.

Copeland Cabin



This beautiful split level building is an ideal base for a smaller group’s camping event. In the upper room there are bunks to sleep 12.

The building has a small kitchenette with hot and cold water. There is no equipment for catering, although a fridge freezer and a microwave are provided. The building has bunks for eight in the lower rooms, and a small dining room.

The building has a shower and toilet facility.

Rover Den



This is a two storey self-contained building with small dormitory for twelve and a bedroom for two. The fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room can be easily used to cater for the occupants of the building.

The building has toilet and shower facilities.

The building is adjacent to a large open space which could provide a group with a detached woodland camping experience.

Dale Centre



The Dale Centre is a small building best suited to offer wet weather contingency for smaller group events. The building has two small dormitories each sleeping eight. There   There is an enclosed dining and cooking area, and a raised decking area at the rear. The building has a toilet and sinks and kitchenette area.

 

 

Leaders’ Lodges



Kibblestone has four leaders lodges that are ideal for those leaders who like a little bit of comfort!

Meadow Lodge

Sleeps 4 in two bunk rooms has a small communal space with fridge, kettle, and sink.

Chapel View Lodge

Sleeps 4 in two bunk rooms has a small communal space with fridge, kettle, and sink.

Fern Cottage

Sleeps 4 in two bunk rooms has a small communal space with fridge, kettle, and sink.

Bee’s Hive

Sleeps 2 in a bunk room and communal space with fridge,  and sink.

 

Fox Glen



The Fox Glen is an ideal base for large events and the industrial kitchen can be used to cater for up to 250 people. The large room is suitable for wet weather use and indoor activities.
