Hardy Scouts and Guides braved the Winter weather to take part in Kibblestone International Scout Camp’s Sub-Zero weekend in February.

Seven Scout groups from Staffordshire and Guides from Derby are stayed under canvas at the rural camp near Stone, Staffordshire.

Steve Fern, Kibblestone Estate Manager said: “The Sub-Zero weekend proved very popular and the campers received a special Kibblestone Scout badge as proof of their bravery.”

The youngsters, aged 11 to 14, camped for free as a special offer for Sub-Zero weekend and we opened our shop and put on a range of activities. It was good fun and they went home with tales of having to prise open tent doors thick with frost.”
