Our Team
Kibblestone employs a very small team of dedicated staff which cares for the site. Our Centre Manager, Stevan Fern have been responsible for the site for several decades.
Stevan and the estate workers, building care team and activity instructors work incredibly hard to ensure that the site meets the expectations of all our visitors.
If you are interested in joining the team and gaining invaluable work experience, there are opportunities available every summer.
Summer Staff
Every year we recruit several temporary multi-activity instructors to work with our busy summer camps. The positions are usually for ten weeks, between May and September.
Pay and Benefits
Relevant minimum/living wage plus full board camping accommodation and activity and first aid training.
Job Description
This post is perfect for anyone aspiring to be an outdoor instructor or anyone with a passion for the outdoors looking to gain experience of working with children. You will be working alongside the staff and volunteers at Kibblestone to deliver activities and to support the groups on-site.
The position is for 37 hours per week (flexibility will be required to cover weekend activities). We will provide training for all our on-site activities and first aid training.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with groups and have attained skills in one or more outdoor activity. Successful applicants will be at least 18 years of age, enthusiastic and outgoing with great communication skills.
Working with Kibblestone camps provides an excellent opportunity to experience being part of a busy, leading outdoor activity centre.
